- Annual club fee surprise. Planet Fitness charges a once-yearly club enhancement fee in addition to the monthly dues. The amount and timing is disclosed at signup.
- In-person cancellation requirement. Planet Fitness requires cancellation to be done in person or by certified mail — online cancellation is not accepted.
