- Temporary auth holds. Uber places a small authorization hold at trip start that is replaced by the final charge. Holds typically clear within 1–5 business days.
- Route adjustment charges. Charges may increase if a route changes significantly during a trip. Review the final fare in your trip history.
- Uber One membership. Uber One renews monthly. Cancel in the app under Account → Uber One to stop future charges.
